1. An apparatus for evaluating an exercise function of a person who undergoes an exercise load, comprising:

  • a pulse-rate measuring device which successively measures a pulse rate of the person in synchronism with a heartbeat of the person;

    a blood-pressure measuring device which successively and non-invasively measures a blood pressure of the person in synchronism with the heartbeat of the person;

    a first calculating device which successively calculates a pressure rate product of said pulse rate and said blood pressure a in synchronism with the heartbeat of the person;

    a second calculating device which calculates a total energy produced by the person after application of the exercise load to the person is started and before the products successively calculated by said first calculating device increase up to a target value; and

    a display device which displays an evaluation value of the exercise function of the person based on the total energy calculated by said second calculating device.
