1. A device for delivering an agent by electrotransport through a body surface, the device having a source of electrical power electrically connected to a pair of electrode assemblies, one of the pair of electrode assemblies having a reservoir for containing the agent to be delivered, the device comprising at least two regions which are placed against the body surface at spaced apart locations and which are held in intimate contact with said body surface, at least one of the two regions being rigid and comprising the power source and an electrode assembly, the regions being physically connected to one another by a connector, the connector having a folded non-extended configuration and an unfolded extended configuration, whereby the regions may be placed on the body surface at:

  • (i) a first set of locations when the connector is in the folded non-extended configuration, or (ii) a second set of locations less proximate that the first set of locations when the connector is in the extended unfolded configuration.
