1. A camera for recording motion sequences which may be selected for forming an integral image, comprising:

  • (a) image capture means for capturing a scene action as a motion sequence of image frame signals;

    (b) a first storage means for storing the motion sequence;

    (c) means for defining a comb subset of the motion sequence; and

    (d) a second storage means which may be the same or different from the first storage means, for automatically storing a selected comb subset of the motion sequence;

    wherein said means for defining allows a user to select a begin frame and an end frame of the comb subset then automatically selects the other frames of the comb subset based on a preselected number of frames permitted in the comb subset and a mathematical time relationship of the comb subset.
