a first visible information region carrying first information, anda second visible information region carrying second information,said first and second regions being readable by radiation within a second wavelength band different from said first wavelength band,the first visible information region being overlaid by the optical recording layer,the optical recording layer having a transmissivity for radiation within said second wavelength band so that the first information is readable through the optical recording layer by radiation within said second wavelength band,wherein the medium includes,a layer opaque to radiation within said second wavelength band provided between the first visible information region and the second visible information region.

The first information region is overlaid by the optical recording layer. An opaque layer is provided between the first and second information layers.
