1. A method for storing information in a file, so that said information is selectively recognized and able to be accessed when the file is opened by a specific program, but is generally ignored when the file is opened for use by a different program, comprising the steps of:

  • (a) including the information within a comment statement that is saved to the file, said comment statement also comprising a predefined special token;

    (b) parsing the file if it is opened by the specific program, to identify the comment statement that comprises the special token;

    (c) accessing the information included within the comment statement that was identified in step (b), for use by the specific program; and

    (d) rendering a visualization of the information included within the comment statement that comprises the special token.
