Inkjet recording liquid and process for the production thereof
First Claim
1. A process for the production of an inkjet recording liquid, which comprises mixing and dispersing a water-based dispersion of an organic pigment and a water-based dispersion of resin particles having an average particle diameter of 50 to 300 nm, to form a water-based dispersion of colorant particles formed by coating each of the resin particles with the organic pigment, wherein the water-based dispersion of the organic pigment is obtained by dispersing the organic piqment in a water-based liquid to prepare a dispersion and allowing the dispersion to pass a flow path having at least two corner portions under a liquid pressure of 100 to 1,000 kg/cm2.
