1. A person-specific monitor of a size to be conveniently worn upon clothing of a person, the monitor comprising:

  • a microprocessor with associated memory,a power supply,an RF transceiver to convey information between the person and a separate base station, said information from the transceiver including a signal that enables angular and distance determination of the location of the monitor by the base station, andat least one sensor of a radiological, chemical or other toxic agent in the environment surrounding the person, said sensor being operably connected to the microprocessor and removably attached to the monitor, wherein the microprocessor, power supply, RF transceiver, and at least one sensor are electrically connected together.
