1. A method for instantly informing a swimmer during swimming of the effects of chances in his form and/or movement on his speed comprising the steps of:

  • rotating at least one magnet worn by a swimmer to generate patterns of signals which are indicative of whether said changes have increased or decreased the speed of said swimmer;

    processing said patterns of signals to display on a visual display worn by said swimmer information which varies in a manner which is indicative of said changes in said speed of said swimmer; and

    instantly displaying said information on said display worn by said swimmer to instantly inform said swimmer during swimming of whether said changes have increased or decreased his speed.
