1. A method of determining, with a predetermined maximum RF coverage area inaccuracy Δ

  • Fu and with a minimum number of signal power value measurements, the radius R of a cell of a wireless communication system, said wireless communication including a base station transmitter, said method comprising the steps of;

    a) measuring RF signal power value at a location a distance r from said transmitter;

    b) estimating said radius R based upon said measured signal power values;

    c) computing an RF coverage area inaccuracy Δ

    Fu based upon said measured signal power values; and

    ,d) repeating steps a) through c) at different locations until Δ

    Fu is equal to or less than said predetermined maximum RF coverage area inaccuracy.
