(b) an alkalinity system comprising alkaline salts selected from the group consisting of alkali and alkaline earth carbonates, bicarbonates, hydroxides and silicates
wherein at least part of the alkalinity system comprises particulate alkaline salts coated with an organic binder and the weight ratio of organic binder to alkalinity system in the detergent composition is from 1:100 to 1:1. A making process is also provided.
