1. A method of separatinq HB15 prositive cells from a population of unrelated cells comprising reacting an antibody that specifically recognizes a polypeptide having the sequence of the extracellular domain, the transmembrane domain, or the cytoplasmic domain of the HB15 protein, said HB15 protein having the amino acid sequence given in SEQ ID NO:
- 2, with a population of cells and isolating cells to which said antibody binds.
