Abstract
The invention provides a system to convert multi-part files into a single file for use and transfer. The invention combines a "portable server implementation" with a concatenation of the individual files of a multi-part file to create a single file instantiation. When the single file is opened, the server controls the presentation of appropriate files of the multi-part file using standard agents on a computer.
