22. A batch process for reducing pilling of a fabric during at least one laundry cycle, said method comprising the sequential steps of:

(a) scouring the fabric under alkaline conditions; (b) treating the scoured fabric of step (a) with cellulase; (c) bleaching the treated fabric of step (b); and (d) drying the bleached fabric of step (c).
