1. An image processing apparatus comprising:

  • a) irradiating means for irradiating an energetic ray onto an object to be examined;

    b) image pickup means including a plurality of pixels arranged in a two-dimensional form, said image pickup means for converting an image corresponding to the energetic ray transmitted through the object into an optical image and picking up or acquiring image information corresponding to the optical image;

    c) driving means for scanning the plurality of pixels in an n-row (n is a natural number) interlaced scan; and

    d) image processing means for performing image processing on the acquired image information, whereinsaid image processing means includes a first mode for performing moving image processing using image data of a plurality of frames obtained from the scanning of said driving means to obtain moving image data and a second mode for synthesizing the moving image data obtained in the first mode and performing still image processing using the synthesized moving image data obtained from the synthesizing, andsaid image processing means performs the still image processing in parallel with the moving image processing.
