Recording medium
First Claim
1. A recording medium comprising a base and an ink-receiving layer provided on at least one surface of said base, said ink-receiving layer comprising polyvinyl alcohol as a hydrophilic resin, and a block copolymer of polyvinyl alcohol and a hydrophobic polymer, wherein the degree of polymerization of said polyvinyl alcohol contained in said block copolymer and the degree of polymerization of said hydrophobic polymer contained in said block copolymer are in a ratio within a range from 1:
- 10 to 20;
1, and said block copolymer is supplied in the form of an aqueous dispersion and is present in an amount ranging from one part to less than 100 parts, to 100 parts by weight of said hydrophilic resin.
