a printer for printing the image information taken in the electronic camera,wherein the auto-power-off function is disabled during a process of printing the image information by the printer, and enabled after the process of printing the image information by the printer is finished.

imaging means for taking in image information of a subject image; and transmission means for transmitting the image information acquired by said imaging means to a printer, wherein an auto-power-off function is disabled while the image information transmitted from the transmission means is being subjected to a print process in the printer, and the auto-power-off function is enabled after the print process of the image information in the printer.
