1. A profiled web for arrangement between the underside of floor tiles and an upper surface of a support plate, the profiled web comprisinga rigid plastic film formed to comprise a parallel series of successive channels, each of said channels being defined by first and second edge portions and a trough portion therebetween, the series of channels open alternately, as a first group of channels, to the upper surface of the support plate when in an installed position, and as a second group of channels to the underside of the floor tiles when in an installed position, trough portions of the channels open to the support plate when in an installed position being parallel and forming an upper surface of the web, and trough portions of the channels open to the tiles when in an installed position being parallel and forming a lower surface of the web, wherein the web is provided with a plurality of through-openings which produce a liquid- and gas-permeable connection between successive channels, anda substantially flat profile strip, extending transversely to the channels, adjacent longitudinal ends of the channels.
