1. An ablation burr for removing deposits from a patient'"'"'s vessel or stent, comprising:

  • a solid burr body having a distal and a proximal end and a leading concave surface, the leading concave surface extending from a generally smooth distal tip to a smooth shoulder that is proximal to the distal tip, wherein the concave surface has a radius about a central axis of the burr that lies beneath an imaginary line that extends between the distal tip and the smooth shoulder; and

    an abrasive on the concave surface that removes deposits from the patient'"'"'s vessel or stent.
