Trocar needle and expandable trocar tube
First Claim
1. A trocar tube comprising a tubular portion and a grip attached to a rear end of said tubular portion, the grip having an insertion opening, and said tubular portion being smaller in diameter at a front end than at the rear end in an original state of the trocar tube, and said tubular portion being constructed so that a front end portion of said tubular portion is expandable from an original diameter in the original state when a device having an outside diameter greater than an inside diameter of said front end of said tubular portion is inserted into the tubular portion by way of the insertion opening, said tubular portion of said trocar tube comprising a plurality of strips and an elastic tube, the strips being arranged substantially in a cone shape which becomes gradually smaller in outside diameter from a rear end to a front end, the strips each having an outside surface and a pair of sides, the elastic tube covering at least the outside surface of the strips, and the sides of adjacent ones of said strips being unsecured to each other.

Abstract
A trocar including a trocar tube and a trocar needle inserted into the trocar needle. The trocar tube has a tubular portion and a grip attached to the rear end of the tubular portion. The front end of the trocar tube is smaller in diameter than the rear end. The front end portion of the trocar tube can be expanded by inserting an expanding device of an inside diameter suited to the outside diameter of an operative device inserted. The trocar needle has a shaft a piercing end provided at the front side of the shaft, and a grip attached to the rear end of the shaft. The shaft becomes gradually smaller in diameter toward the front end.
