1. A method of making a supercapacitor structure comprisingproviding a positive electrode member formed as a flexible membrane of polymeric matrix composition having an activated carbon powder uniformly distributed therein bonded to an electrically-conductive current collector element;

  • providing a negative electrode member formed as a flexible membrane of polymeric matrix composition having an activated carbon powder uniformly distributed therein bonded to an electrically-conductive current collector element;

    providing a separator member formed as a flexible membrane of polymeric matrix composition;

    arranging contiguously said separator member between said positive electrode member and said negative electrode member; and

    bonding said separator member to said positive electrode member and to said negative electrode member to form a unitary flexible laminate structure.
