- an elongate shaft having an axial bore passing therethrough; and
an impeller integrated with one end of said shaft, wherein at least a portion of said impeller has a network of interconnected pores that provides preferential gas flow from said bore through said portion of said impeller to inject gas into the molten metal bath.
