1. A satellite communication network comprising at least three geosynchronous satellites located within a common orbital slot,wherein at least one satellite of the geosynchronous satellites has an angle of inclination which is greater than a nominal value such that the at least one satellite moves into and out of a communication range of at least one location on an earth'"'"'s surface;

  • and wherein perturbations are applied to orbits of at least two satellites of the at least three satellites, and the perturbations are an increase in an angle of inclination of the orbit of a fraction of a degree, wherein an argument of perigee of the orbits is selected so that ground paths of the at least two satellites appear to rotate in opposite directions.
