a data base for storing consumer credit information;
said computer system being programmed to store current credit information and programmed to store historical credit information for a period at least greater than twelve months; and
said computer system being programmed to provide data for screen displays showing historical credit information in graphical form, said historical credit information including dollar amount credit information for each period of a plurality of periods of historical times, thereby allowing a user of the computerized system to examine on a monetary basis a quality of a credit history.

17. A method of programming a computerized system to provide screen displays of consumer credit information, comprising the steps of:

storing in a data base a plurality of parameters of credit information for consumers, including a monthly installment current balance and a total monthly current balance, and maintaining the consumer credit information in said data base for at least a period of time greater than twelve months;
programming the computerized system to process the credit information maintained for said period of time;
programming the computerized system to provide graphical screen displays of the consumer credit information accumulated for each month for said period of time; and

19. A computerized system for providing consumer credit information, comprising:

a computer programmed to access one or more databases that store consumer credit information;
said computer being programmed to retrieve consumer credit information from said one or more databases and present together on a screen display tradeline information of a plurality of tradelines;
said computer being programmed to provide a point and click capability on one said tradeline to produce an overlay presentation on the screen display of more detailed consumer credit data related to the selected tradeline; and
said computer being programmed to present an overlay of a selected tradeline, including a bar graph illustrating a monthly balance of an account and showing monthly past due amounts of the account.
