1. An apparatus for disposing of waste materials by securely containing and simultaneously transporting the waste materials by gravity from an interior environment to an exterior storage receptacle having one or more sections therein, said apparatus comprising:
- means for operating to dispose said waste materials in a single motion;
at least one gravity flow passageway from said means for operating to said exterior receptacle;
said one or more sections has a means for waste disposal; and
at least one of said sections of said exterior receptacle includes means for glass shatter prevention.

Abstract
A Waste disposal and sorting system, having insulated push doors (10a) and (10b), enabling a one handed motion for immediate disposal and selective sorting of waste materials simultaneously. An outer container (12) having different sections (35) for the selective separate storage of waste for recycling purposes. The unit is position through passageways (14a) and (14b) in a wall of a building. An apparatus (48) is used for preventing glass from breaking in the disposing process in a recycling section.

10. A method of disposing of waste materials in order to securely contain and simultaneously transport by gravity from an interior environment to an exterior storage receptacle having one or more sections therein, said method comprising the steps of:

disposing the waste materials in a single motion by manipulating a means for operating;
transporting the waste materials from said means for operating to said exterior receptacle through at least one gravity flow passageway;
providing the one or more sections of the exterior receptacle with a means for waste disposal; and
preventing glass from shattering by providing a means for glass shatter prevention in at least one of said sections of the exterior receptacle. - View Dependent Claims (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18)
spring loading said one or more hand operated push doors; and
preventing the escape of heat and the entry of outer elements and odor by providing said one or more hand operated push doors with insulation and a magnetic rubber seal.

The method according to claim 10, further comprising the step of providing the means for waste disposal as a disposal bag removably attached to a slide top by a removable attachment ring removably slid onto support rails positioned at a top of said one or more sections of said exterior storage receptacle.

The method according to claim 10, further comprising the step of providing the means for glass shatter prevention as a circular vertical support frame having rings with sets of flexible flaps of a predetermined number and size to provide optimum resistance to glass articles of various sizes which drop through said set of said flaps.

15. The method according to claim 10, further comprising the step of equipping the exterior storage receptacle with one or more illuminating panels at a predetermined location to assist observation of when said disposal bag is full and allow an airway for the waste material to breathe.

16. The method according to claim 10, further comprising the step of equipping the exterior storage receptacle with a floor having a screened hole for escape of water during cleaning of said exterior storage receptacle.

17. The method according to claim 10, further comprising the step of equipping the exterior storage receptacle with an elevated floor having one or more drawer storage areas below the floor for storage of supplies.

18. The method according to claim 10, further comprising the step of providing one of said sections and one gravity flow passageway.

19. An apparatus for disposing of waste materials toy securely containing and simultaneously transporting the waste materials by gravity from an interior environment to an exterior storage receptacle having at least one section therein said apparatus comprising:

at least one hand operated push door to dispose said waste materials in a single motion;
at least one gravity flow passageway from said at least one hand operated push door to said exterior receptacle;
said at least one section includes a waste disposal device therein; and
a glass shatter prevention device located in said at least one section, said glass shatter prevention device including at least one ring having at least one pair of flaps mounted thereto to slow down the speed of glass materials disposed into said at least one section.
