- at least one emission detector, which receives radiation emitted from the body of a subject and generates signals responsive thereto;
a radiation source, which directs radiation toward the body;
at least one transmission detector, having a long dimension, which receives radiation transmitted through the body from the radiation source and generates signals responsive thereto, wherein the transmission detector translates in a direction generally perpendicular to the long dimension relative to the emission detector.
