1. A method for determining set values for braking an electrically powered vehicle, wherein the braking forces or braking torque can be generated by a friction brake acting on all wheels of a vehicle and by an electrodynamic regenerative brake acting on at least one axle according to corresponding set values and comprising the steps of:

  • A) determining a desired vehicle deceleration from a determined deceleration requirement, B) determining the set values according to the desired vehicle deceleration;

    wherein either the set value for the electrodynamic regenerative brake is defined as large as possible according to the deceleration requirement or the set values for the electrodynamic regenerative brake and for the friction brake are set primarily according to criteria concerning the distribution of braking forces on the axles, wherein the desired vehicle deceleration is determined according to the degree of actuation of the brake pedal as well as according to the dynamics of the brake pedal actuation wherein the delimitation between the first and second range of the desired vehicle deceleration is altered according to the dynamics of the deceleration requirement.
