1. Control logic for controlling a turbine in response to a change in load comprisingat least one input for inputting at least one turbine parameter selected from the group consisting of turbine speed, turbine acceleration, temperature, gas flow, and parameters proportional thereto;
- at least one circuit for comparing each selected turbine parameter to at least one turbine control criterion for that parameter wherein the at least one turbine control criterion comprises a member selected from the group consisting of activation criteria and reset criteria; and
outputting a valve control signal to a bypass valve in a duct that supplies gas to a recuperator for the turbine, the bypass valve diverting gas flow away from the turbine.
