1. A tire for a vehicle wheel, comprising:

  • a toroidal carcass;

    a tread band; and

    a first inductive element of an electrical generator;

    wherein the toroidal carcass comprises a pair of axially-opposing sidewalls terminating in beads allowing mounting of the tire on a corresponding rim, wherein the tread band is disposed on a crown of the toroidal carcass and axially extends continuously between the sidewalls, wherein at least one of the beads comprises an annular core comprising a steel strip spirally wound to form at least two radially-superposed layers, and wherein the first inductive element comprises at least one turn of conducting wire wound around a transverse profile of the annular core.
