1. A hybrid vehicle propulsion apparatus on a hybrid vehicle having a drive axle coupled thereto, comprising:
- an internal combustion engine for generating propulsive forces, said internal combustion engine having an output shaft;
a motor generator for generating propulsive forces, said motor generator having a stator and a rotor directly coupled to said output shaft of the internal combustion engine;
a transmission for transmitting the propulsive forces from said internal combustion engine and said motor generator to said drive axle;
a shield member disposed between said internal combustion engine and said stator of said motor generator, for blocking at least one of currents and magnetic fluxes leaking from said motor generator;
said shield member being mounted on said stator; and
spaces being provided between said shield member and said engine, and between said shield member and said motor generator, respectively, wherein said stator comprises a circular array of coil units electrically connected to connection rings, said shield member having a ridge by which said coil units are fixed to said stator through said connection rings and functioning as an attaching member for fixing said stator to said motor generator.

1. A hybrid vehicle propulsion apparatus on a hybrid vehicle having a drive axle coupled thereto, comprising:

an internal combustion engine for generating propulsive forces, said internal combustion engine having an output shaft;
a motor generator for generating propulsive forces, said motor generator having a stator and a rotor directly coupled to said output shaft of the internal combustion engine;
a transmission for transmitting the propulsive forces from said internal combustion engine and said motor generator to said drive axle;
a shield member disposed between said internal combustion engine and said stator of said motor generator, for blocking at least one of currents and magnetic fluxes leaking from said motor generator;
said shield member being mounted on said stator; and
spaces being provided between said shield member and said engine, and between said shield member and said motor generator, respectively, wherein said stator comprises a circular array of coil units electrically connected to connection rings, said shield member having a ridge by which said coil units are fixed to said stator through said connection rings and functioning as an attaching member for fixing said stator to said motor generator. - View Dependent Claims (2, 3, 4)

a transmission for transmitting the propulsive forces from said internal combustion engine and said motor generator to said drive axle;
a shield member disposed between said internal combustion engine and said stator of said motor generator, separate from said housing, for blocking at least one of currents and magnetic fluxes leaking from said motor generator;
spaces being provided between said shield member and said engine, and between said shield member and said motor generator, respectively, and said shield member being mounted on a cylinder block of said internal combustion engine.

a transmission for transmitting the propulsive forces from said internal combustion engine and said motor generator to said drive axle;
a shield member disposed between said internal combustion engine and said stator of said motor generator, separate from said housing, for blocking at least one of currents and magnetic fluxes leaking from said motor generator;
spaces being provided between said shield member and said engine, and between said shield member and said motor generator, respectively, a flywheel being disposed between said motor generator and said transmission and coupled to said rotor; and
a further shield member being disposed between said stator and said flywheel.

an internal combustion engine for generating propulsive forces, said internal combustion engine having an output shaft;
a motor generator for generating propulsive forces, said motor generator having a housing, a stator and a rotor directly coupled to said output shaft of the internal combustion engine;
a transmission for transmitting the propulsive forces from said internal combustion engine and said motor generator to said drive axle; and
a shield member disposed between said internal combustion engine and said stator of said motor generator, separate from said housing, for blocking at least one of currents and magnetic fluxes leaking from said motor generator;
spaces being provided between said shield member and said engine, and between said shield member and said motor generator, respectively a clutch mechanism being disposed between said motor generator and said transmission, for selectively transmitting rotation of said rotor to said transmission; and
a further shield member being disposed between said stator and said clutch mechanism.

8. A hybrid vehicle propulsion apparatus on a hybrid vehicle having a drive axle coupled thereto, comprising:

an internal combustion engine for generating propulsive forces, said internal combustion engine having an output shaft;
a motor generator for generating propulsive forces, said motor generator having a housing, a stator and a rotor directly coupled to said output shaft of the internal combustion engine;
a transmission for transmitting the propulsive forces from said internal combustion engine and said motor generator to said drive axle; and
a shield member disposed between said internal combustion engine and said stator of said motor generator, separate from said housing, for blocking at least one of currents and magnetic fluxes leaking from said motor generator;
spaces being provided between said shield member and said engine, and between said shield member and said motor generator, respectively;
said motor generator comprises a clutch mechanism disposed adjacent to said motor generator, for selectively transmitting the propulsive forces from said internal combustion engine and said motor generator to the transmission; and
a blocking member disposed between said motor generator and said clutch mechanism, for blocking at least one of currents and magnetic fluxes leaking from said motor generator and also for blocking an abrasive powder produced by said clutch mechanism against entry.
