Abstract

Multiple health profiles from multiple personal health monitoring systems are compiled. The multiple personal health monitoring systems each monitor a current health profile including physical parameters and environmental parameters indicative of the current health of one of multiple users. The physical parameters and environmental parameters of each of the multiple health profiles are compared to determine health affecting factors for the multiple users, such that health affecting factors of public health are audited.

Claims

1. A method for auditing public health, said method comprising the steps of:

compiling a plurality of health profiles from a plurality of personal health monitoring systems each respectively monitoring a current health profile including physical parameters and environmental parameters indicative of the current health of one of a plurality of users;

comparing said physical parameters and said environmental parameters of each of said plurality of health profiles to determine health affecting factors for said plurality of users, such that health affecting factors of public health are audited;

comparing said plurality of health profiles with a model health profile;

determining a percentage of said plurality of health profiles that are acceptable in view of said model health profile; and

recommending adjustments to those users associated with said percentage of said plurality of health profiles that are not acceptable in view of said model health profile.

2. The method for auditing public health according to claim 1, said step of compiling a plurality of health profiles from a plurality of personal health monitoring systems, further comprising the step of:

receiving said plurality of health profiles from a plurality of personal health monitoring systems in an extensible mark-up language data format.

3. The method for auditing public health according to claim 1, said step of compiling a plurality of health profiles from a plurality of personal health monitoring systems, further comprising the step of:

updating a stored health profile of a previously registered user with a current health profile received from a personal health monitoring system associated with said previously registered user.

4. The method for auditing public health according to claim 1, said step of compiling a plurality of health profiles from a plurality of personal health monitoring systems, further comprising the step of:

compiling said plurality of health profiles from said plurality of personal health monitoring systems associated with a plurality of employees of a company.

5. The method for auditing public health according to claim 1, said step of compiling a plurality of health profiles from a plurality of personal health monitoring systems, further comprising the step of:

compiling said plurality of health profiles from said plurality of personal health monitoring systems associated with a plurality of participants in an experiment.

6. The method for auditing public health according to claim 1, said method further comprising the step of:

performing statistical analysis on percentages of said plurality of health profiles including said particular health affecting factor.

7. The method for auditing public health according to claim 1, said method further comprising the step of:

analyzing said plurality of health profiles in view of selected health affecting factors to determine which users are affected.

8. The method for auditing public health according to claim 1, said method further comprising the step of:

providing incentives to meet certain health requirements to those users associated with said percentage of said plurality of health profiles that are acceptable in view of said model health profile.

9. A system for auditing public health, said system comprising:

means for compiling a plurality of health profiles from a plurality of personal health monitoring systems each respectively monitoring a current health profile including physical parameters and environmental parameters indicative of the current health of one of a plurality of users;

means for comparing said physical parameters and said environmental parameters of each of said plurality of health profiles to determine health affecting factors for said plurality of users, such that health affecting factors of public health are audited;

means for comparing said plurality of health profiles with a model health profile;

means for determining a percentage of said plurality of health profiles that are acceptable in view of said model health profile; and

means for recommending adjustments to those users associated with said percentage of said plurality of health profiles that are not acceptable in view of said model health profile.

10. The system for auditing public health according to claim 9, said means for compiling a plurality of health profiles from a plurality of personal health monitoring systems, further comprising:

means for receiving said plurality of health profiles from a plurality of personal health monitoring systems in an extensible mark-up language data format.

11. The system for auditing public health according to claim 9, said means for compiling a plurality of health profiles from a plurality of personal health monitoring systems, further comprising:

means for updating a stored health profile of a previously registered user with a current health profile received from a personal health monitoring system associated with said previously registered user.

12. The system for auditing public health according to claim 9, said means for compiling a plurality of health profiles from a plurality of personal health monitoring systems, further comprising:

means for compiling said plurality of health profiles from said plurality of personal health monitoring systems associated with a plurality of employees of a company.

13. The system for auditing public health according to claim 9, said means for compiling a plurality of health profiles from a plurality of personal health monitoring systems, further comprising:

means for compiling said plurality of health profiles from said plurality of personal health monitoring systems associated with a plurality of participants in an experiment.

14. The system for auditing public health according to claim 9, said system further comprising:

means for performing statistical analysis on percentages of said plurality of health profiles including said particular health affecting factor.

15. The system for auditing public health according to claim 9, said system further comprising:

means for analyzing said plurality of health profiles in view of selected health affecting factors to determine which users are affected.

16. The system for auditing public health according to claim 9, said system further comprising:

means for providing incentives to meet certain health requirements to those users associated with said percentage of said plurality of health profiles that are acceptable in view of said model health profile.

17. A program for auditing public health, residing on a computer usable medium having computer readable program code means, said program comprising:

means for compiling a plurality of health profiles from a plurality of personal health monitoring systems each respectively monitoring a current health profile including physical parameters and environmental parameters indicative of the current health of one of a plurality of users;

means for comparing said physical parameters and said environmental parameters of each of said plurality of health profiles to determine health affecting factors for said plurality of users, such that health affecting factors of public health are audited;

means for comparing said plurality of health profiles with a model health profile;

means for determining a percentage of said plurality of health profiles that are acceptable in view of said model health profile; and

means for recommending adjustments to those users associated with said percentage of said plurality of health profiles that are not acceptable in view of said model health profile.

18. The program for auditing public health according to claim 17, said program further comprising:

means for receiving said plurality of health profiles from a plurality of personal health monitoring systems in an extensible mark-up language data format.

19. The program for auditing public health according to claim 17, said program further comprising:

means for updating a stored health profile of a previously registered user with a current health profile received from a personal health monitoring system associated with said previously registered user.

20. The program for auditing public health according to claim 17, said program further comprising:

means for compiling said plurality of health profiles from said plurality of personal health monitoring systems associated with a plurality of employees of a company.
