Abstract

A method for treating a subject having radiation fibrosis is disclosed comprising topically administrating to the subject an effective amount of a compound of the formula:

R₁ and R₂, independently, is H or C₁˜C₆ alkyl; R₃ is aryl or heteroaryl; and n is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6.

Claims

1. A method for treating a subject having radiation fibrosis, comprising topically administrating to the subject an effective amount of a compound and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, in which the compound has the formula:

R₁ and R₂, independently, is H or C₁˜

C₆ alkyl;

R₃ is aryl or heteroaryl; and

n is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein R₃ is aryl.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein R₃ is phenyl.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein n is 0.

5. The method of claim 4, wherein R₃ is phenyl.

6. The method of claims 5, wherein one of R₁ and R₂ is H, and the other is ethyl.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein n is 1.

8. The method of claim 7, wherein R₃ is phenyl.

9. The method of claim 8, wherein one of R₁ and R₂ is H, the other is methyl.

10. The method of claim 1, wherein n is 2.

11. The method of claim 10, wherein R₃ is phenyl.

12. The method of claim 11, wherein each of R₁ and R₂ is H.
