A method of making an electrochemical cell comprising the steps of (i) diluting a polysiloxane adhesive with an organic solvent, (ii) applying by spray-coating, brushing or dip-coating the organic solvent-diluted polysiloxane adhesive onto a surface of at least one of an anode, a cathode and a separator, and thereafter stacking the anode, separator and anode in that order so as to laminate one to another.
