A method of manufacturing universal plasma from blood comprising serological Group A and/or Group B antibodies, said method comprising contacting blood comprising serological Group A and/or Group B antibodies with a chromatography resin comprising corresponding Group A and/or Group B antigen, and recovering an antibodies-depleted blood product as the universal plasma, wherein said step of recovering the antibodies-depleted blood product comprises cross-flow filtration separation of said chromatography resin from the blood subsequent to said blood contacting step.
