1. A foaming oil-in-water emulsion in the form of a cream, which comprises, in a cosmetically acceptable aqueous medium, at least:

  • a) from 5 to 20% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition, of a nonionic surfactant system consisting of at least one foaming nonionic surfactant and at least one emulsifying nonionic surfactant, wherein said at least one foaming nonionic surfactant is selected from;

    i) the compounds of formula (I);

    embedded imagein which;

    R represents an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or arylaliphatic radical or a mixture of radicals having from 7 to 21 carbon atoms, wherein the aliphatic chains are saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched, and may contain sulphur or oxygen atoms; and

    n represents any integer or fraction greater than 1 and less than or equal to 10 and denotes the degree of polymerization;

    ii) the compounds of formula (II)
