(a) a device for measuring roller speed of the dynamometer which is capable of feeding a speed signal to a data acquisition system (b) a device for measuring a dynamometer'"'"'s load equivalent signal which is capable of feeding a signal back to a data acquisition system from the dynamometer and the control system thereof, (c) a data acquisition system that records the speed and load data from the devices set forth in (a) and (b), wherein the devices set forth in (a), (b) and (c) are all external to the dynamometer and the control system thereof.
