1. A method of genetically altering diseased living tissue in a human body comprising:

  • a) delivering a radionuclide labeled, tissue specific material to a patient, b) allowing the radionuclide labeled, tissue specific material to circulate through the patient'"'"'s body until said material concentrates at intended diseased target tissue, resulting in radiolabeled diseased tissue, c) locating the situs of the radiolabeled diseased tissue, d) placing a nuclear probe having treatment delivery capabilities incorporated therewith adjacent the situs of the radio-labeled diseased tissue, e) targeting the radio-labeled diseased tissue using the nuclear probe, and f) delivering genetic material prepared for treatment purposes directly to the targeted radio-labeled diseased tissue while targeted by the probe to assure delivery of the genetic material to radiolabeled diseased tissue to be altered to modify the diseased tissue.
