1. A method of obtaining user response data and transaction data from a public access electronic commerce terminal and storing said user response data, said method comprising the steps of:

  • a) providing a vending machine and a universal server, said vending machine operably linked to said public access electronic commerce terminal and said universal server linked to said public access electronic commerce terminal via a communications network;

    b) providing identification data from said user to said public access electronic commerce terminal;

    c) effectuating a selective dynamic identification interchange of said identification data received from said user;

    d) transmitting a plurality of advertising data to said public access electronic commerce terminal from said universal server and displaying said advertising data on said public access electronic commerce terminal based on said dynamic identification interchange;

    e) providing a user interface to allow said user to purchase products from said vending machine and conduct electronic commerce through said public access electronic commerce terminal and said communications network;

    f) monitoring and receiving said user response data at said public access electronic commerce terminal;

    g) transmitting said user response data from said public access electronic commerce terminal to said universal server through said communication network;

    h) storing said user response data in a user response database;

    i) determining whether a period of non-use of said electronic commerce terminal has occurred;

    j) determining if said period of non-use exceeds a predetermined time period;

    k) generating an error message based on said determination of step j);

    l) determining if at least one of a system limit and an authorization limit of said user is at least one of reached and exceeded;

    m) reauthorizing said user based on said determination step l); and

    n) reprocessing said transaction data based on said reauthorization.
