Abstract

An object of the present invention is to make it easy to recognize a start point and an end point of each music piece, when a plurality of music pieces are broadcasted. A music piece broadcast end information bit, which is reversed in its logic when a broadcast of a music piece ends, is newly added to information to be multiplexed and transmitted.

Claims

1. A method of data multiplex broadcasting, which comprises:

multiplexing data to be transmitted, a first code that changes its state in synchronism with starts and ends of a series of content elements represented by said data, and a second code that changes its state in synchronism with a divisional point between said content elements, and wherein said series of content clements includes a plurality of successive content elements belonging to a same category; and

broadcasting said data and said codes which are multiplexed.

2. A method of data multiplex broadcasting according to claim 1, wherein said second code represents the number of content elements that have already been transmitted, and wherein the number changes in synchronism with said divisional point.

3. A method of data multiplex broadcasting according to claim 1, wherein said second code represents a remaining number of content elements, wherein the remaining number changes in synchronism with said divisional point.

4. A method of data multiplex broadcasting according to claim 1, wherein said divisional point is obtained by detecting a change of devices that output said content elements.

5. A method of data multiplex broadcasting according to claim 1, wherein said second code is a flag that is reversed in logic in synchronism with the divisional point between said content elements.
