1. A method for removing solid substances adhered during production of (meth)acrylic acid, which comprises:

  • washing a device constructed for the production thereof with a basic solution; and

    rinsing it with a solvent until the pH value of the waste water is not more than 9 at 50°

    C. for the purpose of removing solid substances such as polymer and precipitate formed during the course of the production, the solid substances being adhered to the surface of a flow way of the (meth)acrylic acid in the device;

    wherein removing of adhered solid substance is performed without overhauling of the device.
