1. A measurement device comprising:

  • a tray to contain an object having at least one sealable multi-layer film having at least a first layer of a water insoluble material and a second layer of an absorbent/adsorbent material superimposed and in contact with each other whereby the absorbent/adsorbent material contains a liquid when the object is applied to a liquid material, and an identifier which is attached to the object;

    an input device that reads the object identifier and measures a weight of the object after being applied to the liquid material; and

    an output unit that displays the amount of liquid in the object after the measurement device records an original weight from the identifier, measures the weight of the object after it is applied to the liquid material and after the object is placed into the tray.
