1. A method of transmitting position data via cellular communication system, comprising the steps of:

  • (a) generating a position data by a position data producer which is selected from a group consisting of a global positioning system receiver, an inertial navigation system, and a GPS/INS integrated system and equipped with a mobile station;

    (b) sending said position data to said mobile station from said position data producer;

    (c) attaching said position data to a location registration data stream which is sent by said mobile station to a base station to inform which area does said mobile station currently reside in;

    (d) sending said position data along with said location registration data stream to said base station from said mobile station; and

    (e) retrieving said position data by said base station, wherein said position data is attached to a head of said location registration data.
