1. A method of remotely configuring a wireless communication device comprising the steps of:

  • recording content on a remote wireless network;

    remotely configuring a first format for providing content on said wireless communication device for a first user;

    remotely configuring a second format for providing content on said wireless communication device for a second user;

    receiving configuration data representing said first format for said first user and said second format for said second user from a remote wireless network;

    providing a first hierarchical menu displaying available user configurations for selection by a particular user; and

    providing selected content from content downloaded from said remote wireless network, wherein the selected content is formed by the format associated with a particular user into a second hierarchical menu that displays live content being broadcast from the remote network and content recorded on the remote network.
