a data processing system coupled to said detection probe, wherein the detection probe further comprises;
a main housing having a optically clear cover positioned along the length thereof;
a fiber optic bundle housed freely within the housing; and
a membrane embedded with a fluorophore and attached to an inner surface of the optically clear cover.
