1. A method for magnetically detecting a temperature change for thermostat control thereof, said method comprising the steps of:

  • configuring a thermostat control device to include a thermostat and at least one bi-metallic strip that is configured to experience a change in angular position in response to a temperature change;

    associating said thermostat control device with a Hall sensor comprising a plurality of magnets, wherein said plurality of magnets can experience a movement relative to said Hall sensor in response to said change in said angular position of said at least one bi-metallic strip; and

    automatically detecting said temperature change in response to said movement of said plurality of magnets, thereby utilizing said temperature change for thermostat control thereof.
