1. An air pressure detecting apparatus for detecting air pressure of a tire of a vehicle, comprising:

  • a wheel including a rim, a tire, and a tire tube disposed within the tire;

    an air pressure detecting device being disposed between the tire tube and the rim of the wheel for detecting the air pressure of the tire, said air pressure detecting device being held in contact with an outer surface of said tire tube for detecting the air pressure of the tire;

    a pressure bearing plate held in contact with the outer surface of said tire tube;

    a pressure sensor detector for detecting pressure of said pressure bearing plate;

    a detecting and transmitting circuit including a detecting circuit that is connected to the pressure sensor for extracting pressure information, including the air pressure of the tire, as an electrical signal and a transmitting circuit for transmitting the electrical signal from the detecting circuit as a radio wave;

    a case for positioning the pressure bearing plate, the pressure sensor, and the detecting and transmitting circuit radially superposed, face to face, in the order named; and

    a threaded shaft mounted on said case for attaching said case to the rim of the wheel, wherein the threaded shaft is used as an antenna of the transmitting circuit.
