1. A method for providing a drug to a patient during the morning hours, comprising:

  • administering to the patient at bedtime a dosage form for the delayed-delivery of the drug, the dosage form comprising (1) a core including a drug useful in the treatment of hypertension or angina, and (2) a layer substantially surrounding the core, the layer comprising hydroxyethylcellulose having a molecular weight of 8500 to 4,000,000;

    the layer delaying the release of the drug from the core until the morning hours dependent upon the weight of the layer to permit delivery of the drug at waking hours and to treat hypertension or angina in the patient.
