1. A food delivery container to be heated by a magnetic induction heater and to hold food items to be delivered, the food delivery container comprising:

  • a first induction-heatable body; and

    a second induction-heatable body extending generally transversely to the first induction-heatable body, wherein each induction-heatable body includes—

    a plurality of layers of a magnetic induction-heatable material, and a heat retentive material located between adjacent layers of the magnetic induction-heatable material, wherein the heat retentive material is operable to serve as a heat sink upon magnetic induction heating of the layers of the magnetic induction-heatable material.
