- a substrate;
a pixel portion comprising at least a first pixel and a second pixels formed over the substrate, wherein the first and second pixels are adjacent to each other, each of said first and second pixels comprising;
a first thin film transistor;
a second thin film transistor, wherein the second thin film transistors is switched by the first thin film transistor;
a flip-flop circuit;
an EL element comprising a first electrode, a second electrode, and an EL layer provided between the first and second electrodes, wherein the first electrode is electrically connected to the second thin film transistor, a shift register comprising the flip-flop circuits, formed in the pixel portion, wherein the flip-flop circuit of the first pixel is electrically connected to the flip-flop circuit of the second pixel in series, wherein a light is emitted to the side opposite to the substrate.

an EL element comprising a first electrode, a second electrode, and an EL layer provided between the first and second electrodes, wherein the first electrode is electrically connected to the second thin film transistor, a shift register comprising the flip-flop circuits, formed in the pixel portion, wherein the flip-flop circuit of the first pixel is electrically connected to the flip-flop circuit of the second pixel through a connection wiring, wherein the connection wiring extends over the date signal line and the current supply line, and wherein a light is emitted to the side opposite to the substrate. - View Dependent Claims (4)
