1. A method of incorporating user reaction measurement software into one of a plurality of particular web pages of a website, comprising:

  • receiving an icon selection from a website owner specifying a viewable icon to appear on the particular page;

    such that the icon selected for the particular page is viewable on the particular page independent of input from a website user subsequent to the website user accessing the particular page and that the icon selected for the particular page solicits a page-specific user reaction concerning the particular page from the website user independent of input from the website user subsequent to the website user accessing the particular page; and

    the icon selected for the particular page having associated user reaction measurement software comprising a call to a directory containing a script, the associated user reaction measurement software operable to receive the page-specific user reaction concerning the particular page for reporting to a website owner, the page-specific user reaction allowing the website owner to identify the particular page as one of the plurality of pages of the website for which the page-specific user reactions are notable relative to page-specific user reactions for other of the plurality of particular pages of the website;

    incorporating the icon selected for the particular page into the particular page;

    generating the directory containing the script for communication together with the particular page; and

    incorporating the call into software of the particular page such that the user reaction measurement software is operable to receive a subjective user reaction to the particular page, using the script, from a website user that has accessed the particular page.
