1. A computer implemented method for collecting data about an event comprising:

  • identifying a plurality of contents within a particular type of event, and a plurality of temporal segments comprising the particular type of event;

    generating a semantic model for each of the plurality of contents;

    creating a schema for the particular type of event, said schema comprising an association of the plurality of semantic models to one or more of the plurality of temporal segments in which the semantic models may occur; and

    annotating event segments of a recording of an event of the particular event type with semantic annotations based on the schema.
